APPOINTMENTS

The ABC Osteopathic Clinic opening hours are Monday to Friday between 9am and 7.30pm.

The reception is open from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to change or cancel your appointment, otherwise payment of the full fee will apply.

First consultation

On your first consultation, your osteopath will take a detailed case history. This includes details of your general health, present complaint and past medical history.

This is followed by an examination, where the osteopath’s findings and diagnosis will be explained and any questions you might have will be answered.

The treatment will then take place.

Referrals

There is no need for a GP referral to visit an Osteopath, unless it is a requirement for your health insurance. Some patients may be referred by doctors or other healthcare professionals, and many patients will self-refer.

Insurance

Many private health insurance schemes give benefits for Osteopathic treatment. Reimbursement will depend on the insurer and the plan you have chosen. Contact the helpline of your insurance company who will explain the actual benefits and methods of claim for your individual policy.
